Each year, Year 6 pupils have the opportunity to apply for a responsibility and become part of the Year 6 Responsibility Team. We were so impressed that ALL year six pupils applied for a responsibility this year. This is the first time that all children in year 6 have been involved!
Mrs. Reynolds and Mrs. Davies interviewed the children and placed them into their responsibility teams.
The year 6 responsibility teams for the 2023-2024 academic year can be seen below:
- Head Pupil Team
- School Council Leaders
- Prefects and Lunchtime Leaders
- Playtime Leaders
- Safety Team
- Eco Team
- Library Team
- Events and Sports Team
- Tea Party Team
Throughout the year, the children are responsible for presenting in assembly, organising events and competitions as well as running rewards. Keep an eye out in school for our Year 6 responsibility display where you can see the children' s letters of application and their roles.
Weekly rewards are delivered by the Eco-team, Tea-party team and Playground leaders.
The Head Pupil team and Prefects report behaviour and how children have lined up every week during our Monday assembly.
