NSPCC
The NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) is a well-known charity dedicated to preventing abuse, helping rebuild children’s lives and supporting families. They work with children, young people, schools and other support services.

Cheshire East Consultation Service (ChECS)
The Cheshire East Consultation Service (ChECS) is the ‘front door’ for access to services, support and advice for children and their families, covering early help and support through to child protection.

Callers will be directed to a Unit Coordinator who will determine if the concerns are related to early help or safeguarding.
You will then be connected to either a Practitioner Support Officer (EHB) for Early Help concerns or a Social Worker (ChECS) for safeguarding concerns. The worker will gather your information and advise you on the next steps.
