How can you get involved?
The current PTA would like to welcome all parents and friends of the school to the AGM, which will be held on Wednesday 28th September 2022, 7pm at Middlewich Primary School. We encourage parent participation in electing the new Core PTA Committee for the 2022/2023 academic year, especially as the positions of Vice Secretary and Vice Treasurer are currently vacant. We urge parents to put their names forward for these roles so that we can continue to hold fundraising events for the school – being a member of the PTA Committee is thoroughly rewarding, and as alternate meetings are held at the pub, an enjoyable experience too!
All parents and members of the school community are encouraged to get involved, even if they only have a small amount of time available. Involvement in the PTA can range from a simple one-off commitment such as helping on a stall for an hour at the Summer Fair, to joining the committee or one of our event organising teams. We also need volunteers to issue tickets, create posters, purchase refreshments, help out at coffee mornings and much more! Everyone has something to give and we always welcome new ideas and suggestions.
If you would like to get involved in the PTA and help the success continue, please do come along to one of our PTA meetings. Our PTA committee meet regularly, and always welcome new members. You can give as little or much time as you can, but any help is greatly appreciated.

Why do we have a PTA?
We are fortunate at our school to have a PTA that is, and has been, an integral part of the school community for many years.
Our PTA, however, is about much more than simply fundraising! It exists to provide closer links between home and school and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school, working towards a common goal. It is fun too - just ask any of the Committee members or our many valued helpers.
Who are the PTA?
All families are automatically members of the PTA when their child joins our school. Meetings are held monthly and you are always welcome to come along to hear more about what we do. Meetings are not just for committee members, many parents contribute to the running of our PTA and the many events we hold throughout the year.

Thank you so much to the PTA for organising such a wonderful summer fair. It was particularly lovely to see so many children taking part in a range of performances. They were all amazing!
Thanks to the generosity of the families who attended; the fair raised over £2000.00 which is a fantastic amount!

How is the money spent?
The money raised goes straight back into school and helps fund a range of initiatives including school trips and equipment. In 2021/2022, the PTA contributed over £4200 towards trips and Christmas parties for the children!
