I am reading a book called Ghost by Jason Reynolds. I only just started reading, so I don't know much about it, although it looks good. I went to a local field with Aidan on Sunday and we played frisbee for a while, which was fun. I hope everyone else enjoyed their weekend.

Hi everyone
Last week I really enjoyed doing the volcano model. We made it erupt using distilled vinegar and bicarbonate soda. It was really fun because I made the whole thing by myself, including the salt dough that it was made from. Hope you have a nice week! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

Hi everyone,
I hope you are ok and have had a great weekend. Last week my favourite task was in D and T where we got to make a volcano. I made the play dough from scratch and moulded it into my volcano. I also did the under water volcano challenge for task 3 in Science which I did in a jar when it hit the water the water turned red!! Last week, I finished the series of Girl Online books which I would recommend to anyone who loves blogging and drama. It was a great series of books!! I now have started a book called A Boy Called Hope by Lara Willamson. It is a great book so far.
I hope you have a great week

Max - I had a MacDonalds at the weekend too! It definitely felt like a treat after so long without it.

Daisy - That sounds like a cool experiment! Thank you for the book recommendations too. It is always nice to hear what books other people enjoy.

Matthew - I hope you can find something new to do this week! Did you make a volcano last week? That would have been different.

Evan - I am so looking forward to seeing you all too!

And I went to the McDonald drive thro as well, it was yummy. And did anybody here the thunder storm few nights ago? It was so loud it woke me up, we all watched it through the conservatory, it was really cool , my garden flooded. And we had also gone on a walk. And I am reading the beast in Buckingham palace by David Walliams.๐Ÿ˜€. I am enjoying it so far. My favourite topic last was was learning about the volcanoes. I built a volcano with my brother out of lego.

We had a nice treat last week, we went to The Cheshire Ice Cream farm Dive Thru, I had cookie dough and chocolate brownie flavour. We queued up for 55 mins in the car, but it was worth the wait. Did anyone hear the thunderstorm on Saturday night? It was right over our house. I really enjoyed watching it. you all safe and well? From Owen

Hayden - I am so jealous of your trip to the ice cream farm! I didn't know they were doing drive-thru but now I know I will have to pay a visit I think! I'm glad you enjoyed making a lego volcano. The thunderstorm was exciting wasn't it! I always think they are fun to watch - especially when you have a conservatory like you! Well done on your TTR score by the way - I have noticed you sneaking up the ranks!

Owen - A perfect flavour combination; I think that's what I would get too. I'm glad you are enjoying Michael Morpurgo. He has loadsss of books so that will keep you busy for a while! 0.6 would be amazing, although you are already doing brilliantly. I still can't even get down to 1 second but I am blaming it on the laptop!

I forget to put on my last blog post that I also saw the wide load come through Middlewich on Sunday afternoon. We spoke to a man and he said that they are doing it not next Sunday but the Sunday after. Then every two Sundays apparently there are 4 loads every other Sunday coming through Middlewich. The wide load is carrying oxygen to Birmingham hospital for the NHS. I also heard the thunder storm on Saturday night!! It started just as I went to bed. The lighting strikes were amazing.

Hi! I did make a volcano with Lego last week. I also made lollies with my brother and they turned out good. I did a zoom quiz with my family made by my brother and that was fun. I went on a bike ride through Middlewich. I had a zoom drawing robots lesson with my 4 year old cousin. Yesterday when it was sunny, I made a blanket and chair den with my brother so we could be shady in the garden. We tried letting our dog in and put her bed in there but she kept tripping over the bean bags, and didn't stay in it for long anyway. Bye.

Hey everyone!
Last week I really enjoyed making our volcano from scratch. I made my own paper mache by mixing flour and water to make the paste, it was a bit messy but good fun! Then I decided to paint the volcano the colours of the rainbow to thank our NHS and keyworkers. Our dad also went to work and flew to JFK airport, New York. He said he had never seen the airport so quiet and it was kind of spooooooooooooooooky! I've started listening to a new audiobook called the Railway Children and it's really interesting! But the best part of all was running at Delamere and having cookies and ice cream, and we went to McDonald's!

Isobel - This sounds exciting. Is the video of you riding your bike?

Isabelle M - I bet it was nice to see Izzy. The thunder was so loud on Saturday night. I could not believe it. Isabelle, you have used a semi colon correctly between your two sentences - what a superstar. I am so pleased to hear that you have been revising using your study books and BBC bitesize. This will help you to prepare for high school. Well done. I like the story The Boy in the Dress.

Isabella - Miss Merson and I love the book Holes. I am really pleased you are enjoying it. I can't wait to see your letter. The cake for father's day sounds delicious.

Matthew - That sounds busy to me! I don't think I would be able to make Oscar stay in the shade with me either. Aww Zooming with your cousin sounds lovely - I bet he really enjoyed it!

Ethan - Your volcano was brilliant; it actually made me quite emotional! Was your dad pleased to be flying again? I bet the airports do feel very strange now. Running at Delamere followed by cookies and McDonalds sounds like a great day! How far did you run this weekend?

Isabelle M - Even though you aren't in my class I have to say it is lovely to hear that you have been using your revision books and then to see you correctly using a semi-colon in a blog comment! I am very impressed!

Hello I have just done the Cambridge University Lockdown Astronomy. I used Slido to answer questions that he asked. It was public. I really enjoyed it. They do one every week on Tuesday at 3:00pm. If you go on YouTube and search children's astronomy session from the institute of Astronomy Cambridge. They have their own channel. There are 11 children's talks and on a Monday you can ask an astronomer. LOTS of people asked questions. It was very interesting and the time flew by.

Hi Miss Merson
I am currently on question 8 of the English Task 5 Word List, the sentence doesn't make sence. Could you please add the answers or tell me? It's confusing.
The reply button doesn't work either. We only did 5K at Delamere but we are still running 3 times a week.

Mrs Davies wrote:

Hi Ethan,

The sentence should read:
Complete the sentence below using words from the word list.
The missing words do not have to begin with a 'c'.
I hope this helps.
