Year 1 Wednesday 1st April

Date: 1st Apr 2020 @ 8:10am

Hi Year 1,

How are you all? I hope you are enjoying this week’s activities. Have any of you tried the Cosmic Kids Yoga which is suggested on the PE Home Learning page? Mrs Parker has done that at home and she’s had lots of fun with it. Here is a link to one with a story all about monkeys and Easter if you’d like to try it? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERgl6n-Th6M&t=1232s

We’d love to know how you’re all getting on. What have you enjoyed about the work so far? Have you found anything hard to do? Why?

We all know that it is very different learning at home. What do you like about being out of school? What do you not like about being out of school? Please reply and let us know – ask an adult to help you write back to us.

We look forward to hearing from you all,

Mrs Parker and Mr Swift smiley

Hi Mrs Parker
I'm good, how are you?
Last week me and my family were getting used to all working from home so did as much school work as we could but I have been doing lots more today now that we are used to it a bit more.

I have really enjoyed English the most today and am looking forward to doing D&T later in the week.

I'm missing my friends a lot and can't wait to come back to school but am also enjoying the extra time with my Mum, Dad and little brother.

Hi Joshua,
I'm very well - thank you for asking! It has taken a little while to get used to working at home, but hopefully everyone is settling into it now.
I'm glad you've enjoyed the English, I'm looking forward to seeing what you have done when we all get back to school. Hopefully it wont be too long!
Enjoy spending time with your Mum, Dad and brother

Hello Caleb! I'm looking forward to seeing your cheetah on your cushion design when we all go back to school. And making a bird feeder does sound like fun. Have any birds been on it yet?
