5B Listen to David Walliams read!

Date: 24th Mar 2020 @ 10:31am

Hi 5B!

Have you heard that David Walliams is releasing a free audio story every day for the next 30 days? Yesterday, it was The Terrible Triplets! Who's going to tune in and do this as part of their reading task today? Make sure you ask your parents’ permission before listening.

I wonder what the text might be today - let me know your suggestions!

Enjoy!

Hi Mrs Berry
I found that the ending is very surprising because Brad J.r downed in his own cake it was also very funny I loved it . Brad was a mean, selfish, greedy and spoiled boy. He had a birthday every day and his parents payed people to go to his party and its always the same people.
looking forward to what tomorrows story will be hope you all have a good day

I hope you enjoyed listening to The Terrible Triplets.

You will find your home learning tasks on our class page at the bottom if you scroll down. We have also added educational links under the 'Home Learning' section on the school website.

I hope this helps Eva : )

Hi Mrs Berry,
I'm thinking about writing a blog on purple mash. I'm going to do it on todays free audio story, Spoiled Brad. I wondered if you've listened to it yet? Its really good, I love the ending! Have a nice rest of your day!

Hi Ella and Ollie,

Yes I did listen to Spoiled Brad yesterday : ) Like you Ollie I was surprised by the ending! I couldn't believe his parents gave him everything and he still wanted more. I found it sad that his parents had to pay people to pretend to be his friend and attend his party.

Ella, I think that's a wonderful idea to write a blog! Please share it with us if you do : )

I'm excited to find out what today's story will be! I also want to listen to Oliver Jeffers read one of his fascinating books and talk about some of the things that went into making it. Here is the link if you're interested. https://www.oliverjeffers.com/books
Please ask permission before listening.

Hi Etienne,

Lovely to hear from you. Your parents should've received your Purple Mash login details yesterday - if they haven't please let me know. Yes you can use BBC Bitesize to help you with your work. In addition, if you look on the school website there are lots of educational links under the 'Home Learning' section. What work are you currently working on?

I hope this helps.
