Science project - Heart week

Lesson: Curriculum

Class: Year 6M Year: 2015 - 2016

Today, the Year 6 children have dissected a sheep’s heart as part of their science work. They had to identify key parts of the heart, make an incision down the wall of the right atrium and put their finger through each of the vessels and chambers to see where they lead.

The children have thoroughly enjoyed heart week so far and are eager to write up their recounts. The children approached today’s lesson showing a great level of maturity and enthusiasm.
