Date: 18th May 2020 @ 7:41am

Hello Year Two

Once again, we hope you have all had a lovely weekend and are looking forward to another week of Home Learning.  We hope you enjoy the new activities we have planned for you this week so just download the Home Learning file WB 18.05.20 from the 'Files to Download' section of this page. It’s great to hear from you so don’t forget to send us a message using the blog!

Each day remember to do some English and maths activities and to do your daily reading too. Why not send us a message and let us know what books you are enjoying at the moment?

Please make sure you also try to do your TT Rockstars as often as you can.

Wishing you all a lovely week and looking forward to seeing you all very soon.

Hi Mr Williamson,
Today I started with 5 rounds of TT rockstars, then I did tasks 1-3 of Maths and I did the potion writing task for English. I found writing the recipe instructions quite challenging with all the bossy verbs, but Mummy helped me choose different words for each sentence. I am enjoying doing the TT rockstars! The fractions were a little bit challenging but now I have learnt how to count up in both improper fractions and mixed fractions.
I am missing everyone in our year and hope to see you all soon.
Stay safe Mr Williamson and Mr Edwards!

Oliver - Goodness me! You have been busy. A green stamper for you - and one for mum too! It's so nice to hear from you and a big 'WELL DONE!' for all your hard work. I am missing everyone as well but remember, we are all doing the same tasks at home so we are still together in our learning. Please keep in touch and have a lovely week.

Hi Mr Williamson.

I had a great weekend thank you. I hope you had a good one too. I've really enjoyed doing maths and art this week and have been enjoying the sunshine too. I lost another tooth today and the tooth fairy messaged me to tell me where to put my tooth so its safe for her to see it. Mummy and daddy have to keep hold of it until it is safe for her to collect.

Tomorrow I'm going to make my habitat for my creature and write my potion for the witches (we swapped the English days a bit!)
