1S- Monday the 11th of May

Date: 11th May 2020 @ 8:14am

Good morning 1S,

I hope that you all enjoyed your Bank Holiday weekend. I had a great time celebrating VE Day with the people who live in my house. How did you celebrate VE Day?

Did you do anything else this weekend that you enjoyed?

Have a look through this week's activities with a grown up. Which tasks are you most looking forward to completing? Let me know how you find them throughout the week.

Remember to practise your phonics skills by visiting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpvquS6c5vk-There are lots of phonics lessons on here. Let me know whether you enjoyed it.

Mr Swift :)

Hello Mr Swift,
We had a fun VE day. We made flags, we baked some red, white and blue fairy cakes and we had a tea party in our front garden. Lots of people were having tea parties on our road. Mickey Mouse came to see us on a tractor in the morning and we gave some food tins to the people collecting them.
I am looking forward to being a weather man and also making a bird feeder. We have robins in a nest in our garden. They will like it I think.

Missing school lots,

Jacob πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜€

On VE day I made lots of bunting and we sat in our front garden. We had sandwiches, Albie's salad, scones and cake. I went on my bike around the estate and played curby. We slept in a tent all bank holiday weekend, it was fun.

My favourite season is summer because you get to play and swim in a pool, you have ice lollies and it is really warm.

Hi Mr Swift
We had a party in our front garden for VE day and the neighbours played music and we all danced in our own gardens. The seasons are summer, winter, autumn and spring. I like winter the best because you get presents at Christmas and sometimes we are lucky and get to play in the snow. I like making snowmen and throwing snowballs. I am looking forward to making a bird feeder and maybe a bird house too. I have been drawing my design today

Hi Ethan, I am glad that you enjoyed a fun day celebrating VE Day on Friday. Winter is such an exciting season, especially if we are lucky enough to see some snow. It is great to see that you are excited to make your own bird feeder and bird house. Let me know how you find building it. I hope that you see lots of bird visiting it in your garden.
I hope you have a lovely week.
