Remote Learning

This autumn term it has been fantastic to welcome back all of the children.

We know that a school closure will impact everyone differently and we acknowledge that children and families will face a variety of situations and challenges. With this in mind and following feedback from parent and carer surveys, we have updated plans in place should we need to provide remote learning.

This could be because a class bubble needs to self-isolate for 14 days or the school has been advised to partially close due to a lockdown. Although we are not expecting these events, we would like to ensure that we are prepared for them.

The documents below explain the changes and improvements we have made to our remote learning provision following the feedback from the parent and carer surveys.

We will continue to use the class pages. If your child is learning remotely, you will find the plans and timetable available to download as well as a daily class blog. There is a guide below if your child is unsure how to see or respond to the blog.

You can also download ‘how to guides’. These are to help you use the internet platform Purple Mash which the children in Year 1 and above will be completing some of their work on.

Additional links are available below. These are in case your child needs extra activities to complete. If you would like to look at the methods we use in our maths lessons, our calculation policies are available to download on the 'Mathematics' tab under 'School Curriculum'.
