The Royal Cheshire Show

Middlewich Primary School were successful in winning the primary school shield for their stand in the School’s Out tent at this year’s Royal Cheshire Show.

The theme this year was ‘Sheep, sheep and more sheep’.  The stand was decorated by sheep of all shapes and sizes generously made by children across the school as part of a homework task.

A group of year 6 pupils ran the stand inviting members of the public to make friendship bracelets, have a go at weaving, paint a sheep pebble and make their own sheep decorations to take home.  The school were commended by judges for the pupils’ enthusiasm and willingness to engage with show-goers.
