Year 1 Monday 20th April

Date: 20th Apr 2020 @ 8:45am

Good morning Year 1!

We really hope you have had a lovely 2 weeks. The sunshine has been lovely, and it's been nice to be out in the garden a little. We've eaten too much chocolate, so we're ready to get back into routine and start eating healthily again!

Your new activities are now on the class pages. We would love hear about what you have done over the last 2 weeks. Ask an adult to help you write on this blog. What have you really enjoyed? Can you suggest any interesting activities for other children to do?

Try to keep up with your reading every day. It's really important to practise your phonics so we can be super readers!

We miss you all and hopefully we will all see each other soon. We can't wait to hear from you all.

Mrs Parker and Mr Swift smiley

PS - We are sorry that you cannot blog at the moment. It seems the school website platform is having problems and we are working to fix this as soon as we can. Please keep checking the blog to see if it has been fixed - we really want to hear from you all!

I went in a big tent in the garden and we watched a film outside like it was a cinema. I have been helping mummy do jobs and cooking the food

I had a fun Easter holiday. I learnt to ride my orange bike without stabilizers and I can start off by myself. This made me happy. We have been on lots of bike rides. We made a big yummy chocolate cake for Easter and we had a fun Easter egg hunt it was lots of fun. See you when the bugs have gone. Love from Jacob.

I planted vegetables with my sister.
We had a big water fight.
In Poland there is a tradition where you paint eggs. My egg had a Tie-die pattern.
I played a lot of board games with my family.
I enjoyed making clay animals with my sister.
