Lots of bears!

Date: 30th Nov 2016 @ 4:06pm

We have been learning all about Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We have even written our own versions of the story! Today, Miss Worden asked us how many bears were in all 4 of her books. We made an array on the carpet which showed the four groups of three. We discovered that was 3 + 3 + 3 + 3... 4 lots of 3! This is written as 4 x 3!

Our next challenge was to look at Miss Worden's array and investigate what the number sentence could be. Take a look at our super answers!

Can you spot a 'lots of' number sentence in the environment around you?
I spotted 6 rows of 2 flowers today... 6 x 2!
