Good Morning Reception 10.06.20

Date: 10th Jun 2020 @ 8:00am

Hello Everyone

We hope you are all okay and working hard on the home learning activities we have put on this week.  Its lovely hearing from you so don't forget to blog and let us know how you are getting on and which activities you have enjoyed.

It's another rainy day, I think we should all try singing 'rain rain go away, come again another day' and see if that brings back the sunshine!

The teachers in school have produced a little video, which is on the website, showing you some of the changes in school that you will see when you return.  Its lovely and definitely worth a watch if you haven't already seen it!

Take care and we look forward to hearing from you soon

Love Mrs Rogerson, Mrs Pillai and Mrs Webster  xxxx

Hello everyone, Mummy showed me the video yesterday and it made me smile a lot. I watched it several times too! I have seen a few 'hello-crows' on my walks now. I dressed up my giant pink teddy - she is called Pudsey and is bigger than me! Yesterday, I went out on my scooter and bike as part of my P.E activity and I bumped into the cat that comes over to me for attention. The cat nuzzled into my legs and then flicked his tail on me (which is gross) but I like the cat a lot. I did a lot of my school work yesterday and trying to finish some more today. Mum has just told me about the film that Jude watched 'Honey I shrunk the kids' and I might try and watch it (I get bored half way through films.. even Charlie and the chocolate factory). Mum said I will enjoy it because I like 'Grandpa in my pocket'. That has an inventor in and a Grandad who has a shrinking cap. I think it would be really funny if my Grandad could shrink and fit in my pocket. I am looking forward to Nana and Grandad coming to the garden this weekend for some lunch so I will be singing the weather songs all day. Hopefully see you all very soon. Have lots of fun. Sophie xx

Hello Mrs Webster.
I have been riding on my bike when we had lots of sunshine. We've had bbqs a few times with burgers and sausages. I watched the space x rocket take off on TV the other night. It was amazing I want to be an astronaut when I am older. I have been doing lots of hard work at home. I am looking forward to seeing everyone back at school.
See you soon. Max.

Hi Sophie,
Oh I loved 'Honey I Shrunk the Kids' when I was little and I remember going to the cinema to watch 'Honey I Blew up the Kid'! I am sure you will enjoy it even if you watch it in two or three parts.
I hope your weather songs do the trick and you can spend a good amount of time in the garden with your Nana and Grandad. I think if we all sing some it just might work.
Is Pudsey going to be your 'Hello-Crow'? I bet she will look great in a school uniform if you have one big enough!

Take care Sophie and keep us updated.

Good morning Mrs Rogerson and Mrs Pillai. We have just watched the video of the changes made at school. Mummy loved it so she could see what it is like. I have been going to school and loved it the past few weeks. Mummy is off work today so we are going to draw round my body and label it. I have loved riding the bikes at school and wake up super early as I am excited to go. I have learnt to count in twos and now know my even and odd numbers. I will keep practicing. Hope to see you all soon. Take care X X x

We have been doing art and lots of maths this week. Iโ€™ve been watching Britainโ€™s Got Talent and my favourite was the dogs. I went strawberry picking at Woore Farm and I picked four boxes of strawberries ๐Ÿ“. I ate the most! Willow doesnโ€™t like strawberries but she said she will try them. We have been on a few bike rides when it was sunny. We have been to Nanna and Grandads to see the tadpoles and to check if they have grown. We made chocolate crispy cakes and so did Sophie. Sophie brought me one round. Good morning Darcey.
Mrs Webster told us that you have been at school. She said it was lovely to see you and you are working very hard! Super maths work as well, it can be much easier to find the total number of objects if you can count in twos so well done!
The bikes are a lot of fun at school, I think we will have to get them out more often!
I hope you enjoyed labelling your body. What was the hardest word to spell?
Take care Darcey and keep in touch.

Hi Max and Hazel,
It's lovely to hear from you both. You are both keeping yourself very busy and working really hard too.

Max, the rocket take off is amazing isn't it. Can you remember all the things that we have learnt about space?

Hazel, I love strawberries, we have had 5 from our strawberry patch so far. I like to have them with my cereals for breakfast. When do you like to eat yours?

I will hopefully see you soon,
Mrs Webster
